Facing BrownstoneI’m not a brave person. I’m afraid of heights, rollerblading, even riding my bike too fast. So why the hell would I throw myself off a cliff? Sure, I was over at least a hundred feet of water. I had a life vest on. This was an organized sport; not dangerous at all. It wasn’t that. I walked up again and again to the short section of fence; peering over the side at water that seemed miles below. It had looked like no height at all from the bottom, but now?
